Alex Clemente, founding Managing Director of Harvard Business Review Analytic Services, has been appointed Director of the CovQ Center for Intelligence, Strategy and Execution (CISE).
Clemente spent two decades at Harvard Business Review, including 16 years building and leading Analytic Services into a respected source of research on the issues that shape business leadership, organizational performance, and strategic decision-making. At the CovQ Center (CISE), he will help set its direction and serve as a public voice and thought leader for the CovQ ecosystem. His focus will be the practical connection of intelligence, strategy, and execution, so that management teams can outperform and develop compounding leaders.
The appointment formalizes a collaboration already underway. Clemente and his team at HBR Analytic Services produced the report Mastering Value Creation by Centering Strategy and Execution in association with CovQ, including presenting the results at its launch event, which has since evolved into The Compounding Loft.
“Organizations have become highly sophisticated at managing data around customers, operations, and processes, yet strategy and value creation remain the missing piece in the stack,” said Clemente. “The CovQ Center (CISE) exists to educate and empower leaders to commit to excellence in this area as well, best accomplished by leveraging systems, technology, insights, and AI.”
“We have always positioned CovQ, the Compound Value Creator Quotient, as the apex predator and operating system for value creation,” said Ralf Hirt, CEO and Founder of CovQ. “We are glad to continue this journey with Alex Clemente joining us as Director of the CovQ Center (CISE).”
With this appointment, CovQ builds on its momentum to equip organizations for the fast track to excellence and compounding enterprise value.
